Code of conduct 2017
Hardface AB will market its products in a manner that creates added value for our customers and employees and helps build the company and its brand (s). Hardface AB core values and values form the basis of our Code of Conduct. It describes the rules of conduct that will guide us in conducting our business.
Hardface AB prioritizes long-term value-adding primarily by building a profitable brand (s) for our technical solutions. Hardface AB acknowledges the ten principles of the UN Global Compact and appears to promote these in the customer environments in which we operate. To comply with these general principles, Hardface AB has defined the following basic principles:
- Hardface AB complies with the laws, ordinances and standards applicable in the countries in which the company operates.
- Hardface AB conducts its business with integrity and morality and takes responsibility for the company’s actions;
- Hardface AB respects the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights and accepts our responsibility to maintain the rights of employees and society in the company’s operations.
- Hardface AB is active in our cooperation with our suppliers nationally and internationally in order to improve the conditions for those who manufacture the company’s raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products.
In the areas where Hardface is active, the company is actively working to ensure that the company’s suppliers comply with the principles of the Hardface Code of Conduct.

The relationship with our employees
The relationship must be based on mutual respect and trust. Hardface AB’s employment terms follow collective agreements and national legislation.
Corruption, bribery and other unfair anti-competitive measures that distort markets and hinder economic, social and democratic development. Hardface AB shall never use or in any way be associated with such methods.
Consideration of the environment is all about our work. Our ambition is to constantly exceed the demands of customers and other stakeholders on product safety, energy and commodity management, lower CO2 emissions, and in all contexts such as manufacturing, transportation and travel. Our products are in every way possible to recycle and / or in an environmentally friendly way handle through professional market players.
UN Global Compact 10 principles
At the World Economic Forum in Davos in 1999, UN’s then Secretary General, Kofi Annan, urged the business world to take global responsibility. The Secretary-General’s initiative led to the formation of “The Global Compact”, which includes principles of human rights, labor law, environment and corruption directed at businesses. These principles are based on the UN Declaration of Human Rights, ILO’s Basic Conventions on Human Rights at Work, the Rio Declaration and the United Nations Convention against Corruption.
Principle 1: Companies are asked to support and respect the protection of international human rights within the sphere in which they may affect; and
Principle 2: Make sure that their own company is not involved in human rights violations.
Principle 3: Businesses are asked to maintain (“uphold”) freedom of association and an effective (“effective”) recognition of the right to collective bargaining;
Principle 4: Abolition of all forms of forced labor;
Principle 5: Actually (“effective”) abolition of child labor; and
Principle 6: Abolition of discrimination in employment and occupation.
Principle 7: Companies are asked to support the precautionary principle regarding environmental risks;
Principle 8: Take initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility; and
Principle 9: Encourage the development and dissemination of environmentally friendly technologies.
Principle 10: Companies should counteract all forms of corruption, including extortion and bribery.
