Hardface Plate - Chromium Carbide Overlay Plate

Chromium carbide overlay plate, commonly known today as “Hardface Plate”, is a highly cost-effective wear-resistant material that can be formed and fabricated into almost any shape or configuration.

The plate consists of a structural steel base plate with a hardfacing weld overlay applied on an industrial scale. The base material can be either carbon steel or stainless steel. The weld overlay is applied in one or more layers, with a wide range of alloys available to meet different performance requirements.

We offer custom manufacturing based on your drawings, supplying either semi-finished products or fully finished components.

If you don't have technical drawings, we can recreate your components through reverse engineering using 3D scanning and CAD technology.

We source materials from leading European manufacturers and offer a comprehensive product range to meet the needs of your projects. Naturally, we also supply our own standard Hardface Plate, stocked locally in Sweden and available at highly competitive prices.

In collaboration with Meltolit, we have developed optimised welding consumables specifically suited to our plates, both for joining and for hardfacing and repair applications.
